Free Breakfast Club – Early Adopters
Our school is delighted to offer a free breakfast club from 8.30am for all children as part of the Early adopter Breakfast Club scheme.  Our school is one of 14 across Nottinghamshire who are working with the DFE to trial the scheme.

We welcomed the Defence Secretary, John Healey, into our school to come and see our Breakfast Club in action.
He was also joined by Michael Payne, MP for Gedling.

We provide extended childcare for our pupils via the Breakfast and After School Club called The Hangout. This can be accessed by any family at school from 7.30-9.00am and from 3.40pm-6.00pm.

Mrs Stanley

Hello Hangout parents, I’d like to introduce myself, I’m Mrs Stanley. I wanted you to all know my role, along with the team, is providing care and fun in the After School Club whilst everyday we will be providing the children with a range of healthy snacks, fun and lively activities in a safe environment to explore and enjoy. Please contact me for any questions you may have, I’m here to help out in anyway.

Aims

  • To provide high quality childcare that meets the needs of parents/carers.
  • To provide a happy, welcoming, safe and secure place where all children are valued.
  • To maintain good relationships with the children encouraging cooperation and providing help and support.
  • To have strong partnerships with parents/carers.
  • To provide children with breakfast and/or a light snack and drink at the after school club.
  • To offer a range of structured and free play opportunities and activities to engage and stimulate the children and foster their independence and self-esteem.
